Our aim is to convert old discarded shells into much needed, high quality, natural soil fertilizer at an affordable price. At the same time providing extra revenue for the fishermen.
We work with farmers and fishermen together to better ascertain and address immediate and future needs and we believe the best way forward is local source - local produce approach.
Our hope is to see a few years pause in agressive conch harvesting. During this time the fishermen will be paid for bringing in discarded conch shells instead of killing new juveniles.
If we manage to secure enough funds to make killing less profitable than collecting previousely discarded shells. The problem of non-sustainable conch practice will be over!
