What's in this Shell?

A story of one sailor and a fisherman, and
how a small shell processing plant was built

For many centuries conch boats have been bringing their haul to Woburn bay. The shells are manually processed, the edible part of the mollusk is extracted, the meat cleaned and packaged. Shells discarded...

Here a local Grenadian fisherman met a sailor with the technical background and together decided to work out a solution to industry by-products - discarded conch shells - and give source of a revenue for the local fishing community.

We know that the Conch shell is an excellent source of bio Calcium Carbonate – a much needed fertilizer for the Grenadian farmers so the partners commenced work.

Together they designed the process and built all the machinery to grind shells into flour.
Our first batch of beautiful white Calcium Carbonate was tested by the Grenada produce laboratory and found to contain 35% of pure Calcium!

Today we invite every Grenadian farmer to claim a FREE 50LBS sample bag of Calcium Carbonate together with a FREE soil pH test.
